Measure your room in 10 minutes

The magic of the ARC Studio system begins with its ARC MEMS measurement microphone. Connect this to your audio interface via any +48V phantom-power-enabled input, and then it’s on to step two: fire up the ARC4 software. The software guides you through every step of taking measurements from your listening position with the mic. Within a mere 10 minutes, your room’s calculations will be finished. This process can be repeated for multiple pairs of monitors or even different listening positions.

Latency and jitter-free performance

Once you’re done taking measurements, the ARC Studio’s final step involves transferring your room’s correction filters to the standalone hardware processor. This processor really makes the ARC Studio system stand above the rest. Other acoustic correction systems may use mics or software in a similar fashion to ARC, but they leech off your computer to apply their corrections. This issue can take valuable processing power away from other tasks, potentially resulting in latency or jitter. However, the ARC Studio’s external hardware processor makes this a complete nonissue. Plus, it doesn’t need to be bypassed in your DAW before bouncing mixes!

Works for any studio, any time

It doesn’t matter whether your studio centers around a DAW, a Pro Tools HDX system, or a recording console. It also doesn’t matter if you work in a music production studio or a post-production house for films, TV, or games. The ARC Studio Advanced Room Correction System from IK Multimedia is guaranteed to treat your control room now, and in the future. Updateable firmware means that whether you switch how you work or change spaces entirely, the ARC Studio system is sure to deliver accurate room correction time and time again.
